Vishal and Shekhar are now almost at the brim of success and may be just over pouring. ‘Om Shanti Om’ their highest water point in 2007 was followed by the music of ‘Tashan’ and ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ in 2008. Both the albums have been quite a revelation in view of the fact that it continues to be a favorite with a lot of music lovers even after quite some time of their release and when lot of hit film music are just fading away in matter of no time.
 
An unworthy occasional ‘Bhoothnath’ and the fact is that it has happened with all of the classic opera musicians leave alone film music directors.  The duo continues to thrill and pleasure a lot of ears with their sometimes uncomplicated and earthy and sometime technically brilliant music. It now time for the audience down south to enjoy the skills of this brilliant duo who have already hit the bull’s eye in Bollywood. Telugu film Chintakayala Ravi, which stars superstar Venkatesh will be their first movie down south.

"When Venkatesh came to us with the project, we were game to compose for it. In any case we never had any qualms of composing for a regional film and since the setup looked great as well, we pronto began working on the project. You would find that the songs of Chintakayala Ravi have completely our flavour in them", tells Vishal of the Vishal-Shekhar who just finished with the music of ‘Dostana’.

The new story is that Vishal-Shekhar has been offered a monumental amount for the project, Vishal adds, "Never ask a man's salary, though all I can divulge is that we too have been informed about the price being amongst the highest ever paid to the composers for a Telugu film."

The release itself was special as the album already has reached Triple Platinum status. "Triple Platinum stands for the fact that there has been a pre-order placed for 5 lakhs units. I am told by the makers that this is unprecedented and they are glad to see such a massive audience response", says gleeful Vishal.

The flick is directed by Yogi and produced by Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji) under Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions, Chintakayala Ravi has Anushka and Mamta Mohandas as the female cast.

Another steamy new is that the sultry Aarti Chhabria has performed a hot item number which is already being touted as one of the focal attractions of the film.
