After being a composer and then a singer, music man Himesh Reshammiya will be donning the new role of an actor now. Well the news is known to all and sundry. Though Himesh is not acclaiming his ambitions of becoming a leading man he has been working hard to suit the criteria of the role he is set to play as a leading man. He will be debuting as a leading man in a film entitled ‘Aap Ka Suroor The Movie: The Real Love Story’. Reports are that it will be one of the highest budgets films ever. The feature-film will be a full-blown musical woven into a dramatic plot, something on the lines of where the Swedish super-group Abba played themselves and acted in a concert-oriented film. The film will have Himesh’s original music, plus his big hits like ‘Jhalak dikhla jaa’ and ‘Aap ka suroor’.

We can already spot the weight-loss as he has been vigorously undergoing workouts since the past few months. He has lost 10 kgs and is in the process of shedding some more. Also he is in the process of re-inventing his looks for the film. He intends to abandon the trademark cap and get himself an entire new look and wardrobe for the his acting debut. “Reinvention is the only way to survive. I’ve decided to do many new things. For that I needed to cut down on my movie scores. I’ve not signed any new films. I’ll only be scoring music for very selected films. It’s very important for me to grow as a music composer,” Himesh says.
