If there was ever a music release that was so eagerly awaited in Tollywood, it was 'Naani'. Firstly because the music director is AR Rahman and also because it was postponed for six whole months as of now.

So when it was finally released on Thursday at Screen 5 of Prasad's multiplex, you could see the relief in producer Manjula's face. The celebrities who graced the occasion were Krishna, ANR, K Raghavendra Rao and host of other important people. Chiranjeevi failed to make it to the function due to tight shooting schedule. Inspite of this the star attraction for the evening was AR Rahman who flew in from London to attend this function. He was sporting a summer cut and was all smiles throughout the function.

Two of the songs were projected on the screen for the viewers to be enthralled. There were no long speeches for the occasion and the function wound up in just over an hour.

Aditya music has bought the rights for this movie for a whooping 2 crores and the cassettes will hit the market from March 26th with the first copy of 5 lakh cassettes.
