There was an unexpected hit this season in the Tamil film Industry. The film is 'Adithadi' and features Sathyaraj and the young Rathi.

The film is believed to be a spoof on many Telugu and Tamil films like Jayam etc.. The story revolves around Satyaraj a 50 plus don who falls in love with a 20 year old Ms.Chennai. Napoleon is another don, his brother helps Sathya raj in his romantic ventures.

Then there is Abbas who plays the role of heroine's boy friend in dire straits caught between two goondas. The story is woven with hilarious episodes Sathyaraj hanging on a rope above the heroine's bedroom, which is a take off from Telugu film 'Jayam'.

The intial quote for the remake rights was 15 lakhs, but the deal was settled for much lesser than that, courtesy the friendship Sathyaraj shares with Mohanbabu. It is rumoured that the final agreeement was on 6 lakhs.

For Mohanbabu who is contemplating his second innings in Tollywood, this movie will provide the right fodder for the style of Mohanbabu. For the time being, he has made the right move.

It remains to be seen when the shooting for the movie will start.
