Udaykiran had a very bad 2003. The ill-luck seems to be following him even this year.

His latest flick 'Love Today' did not even create expected ripples. But then there was this film of Chandrasekhara Yeleti (Aithe director) to look forward to. Udaykiran was supposed to play the role of an Army officer in that flick.

But Udaykiran's elation was short-lived. The film had to abandoned due to constraints on budget. The trouble started with the replacement of heroine Meera Vasudevan as the producers felt that she looked elder to Udaykiran.

And then the big shock of 3 crore deposit by the Indian Army to allow shooting in the sensitive area of Kashmir. This means the budget of the movie could touch 8 crore. The producers were not willing to risk so much money into making this movie with Udaykiran who is not currently the hottest in the market. All these irritated the director Chandrasekhara Yeleti and he called the movie off.

Poor Udaykiran. Wonder how long will he have to bear this kind of treatment.
