The name of a Telugu movie reflects the content in the movie. To attract the viewers the moviemakers come out with different and peculiar names. Well it doesn't matter much.What matters is, the movie's name, which reflects the caste identity. And the main character in the movie has that name. Why should the names of certain castes be glamorized? If we observe, we will find the feudalistic attitude of the moviemakers and storywriters, which is seen in the movie.

Mohanbabu Pedda Raidu, Chinna Raidu, Sitarama Raju, Samarasimha Reddy, etc. are the popular movies which are inspiring to name the up coming movies similarly. And in such movies, top heros like Bala Krishna, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh and Mohan Babu are often seen in the leading. The presence of top heros in such movies glorifies and glamourises the caste's name. Only Megastar Chiranjeevi has not acted in movies with such names. The background of the moviemakers plays a vital role in naming the movies. The moviemakers from coastal Andhra seem to have a fascination for castes.

The same is in the Tamil cine field. Recently one of the movies of Sharath Kumar was named in such a way that, one of the caste's name was glorified and which lead to a big controversy. It went to such an extent that P.M.K leader Vaigo almost attacked Sharath Kumar. As a result, this tradition of naming the movies is fading away in Tamilnadu. Whereas it is still continuing in Tollywood, as neither the political leaders nor the common people are raising any objection.
