Prakash Raj, South India’s number one villain lost his only son, Surya Siddharth (10) who died in a private hospital on Saturday morning (20 March) at 10.30 AM.

Surya, a student of Sishya School in Adayar is said to have fallen from the stairs at his new house in Neelankarai in East coast road in Chennai.

The boy had a head injury and though he was immediately admitted to the hospital the doctors couldn't save him. The incident happened on the same day when Prakash Raj’s new film under his home production 'Azhagiya Theeye' audio was launched with big fanfare in Chennai.

The incident was a big blow to the actor who is said to be shattered. Film personalities including Mahesh Babu, Junior NTR, Allu Aravind, Editor Mohan, ‘Jayam’ Ravi, Meena, Sukanya, Suhasini, Jayasudha, Sangeetha and directors like Shaji Kailas, Cheran and many others came to console the actor.
