During a time when Nitin's career is booming with forthcoming films like 'Sri Anjeneyam' and the other planned one with Teja, his father Sudhakar Reddy, distributor for Nizam, is planning to produce a movie for him.

Father had this to say, "I know that my decision has surprised many. I had people asking me if I am trying to help my son in his career. That's laughable. Come on. Let's face it. Nitin is one of the leading heroes in Tollywood now. What I am doing is like what any producer would do, Cash in on his popularity," when asked about his sudden decision to produce a film with his son.

"The film will have Nitin and a new heroine, whom we still have not chosen and it will be directed by Karunakaran. We still haven't decided on the dates of shooting because Nitin's film with Krishna Vamsi is yet to be completed. Once it is completed, we will decide on our film. And then there is Teja's film too. I think Nitin will have his hands full this year," said Mr. Sudhakar Reddy.

The father was beaming all through in his pep talk and it was obvious that he was proud of his son. Nitin does have a lot to live up to.
