The print media has made quite a big row about Ravi Teja refusing an autograph for a young fan, when he was approached by her during shooting of 'Venky'.
But the star has something else to say about this, "I don't know how things like this start, but sure realise that they catch up quickly like forest fire," said Ravi Teja casually on this issue.
"It was never an issue. Tell me if somebody comes to you and asks you sign on a 100-rupee note. Will you do it? I am a strong believer of the fact that respecting the currency of my country is like respecting my country itself. When only the Governer of Reserve Bank of India is the only person authorised to sign on the currency of India. How can I do it?," asks Ravi Teja.
"That too when the Government is propagating against stapling and writing notes on currency, signing on a currency is the most awkward thing that I can do. That's why I advised her to get something else for an autograph. She didn't have anything with her, but she seemed content with the explanation given. I don't know how it ever got to the scribes," smiles Ravi Teja.
It is nice to know that in the hustle and bustle of glam world, there are people to think about these things.
