Actor-producer Mohan Babu will be appearing as a buddhist monk in his next untitled production which was launched recently. “I intend to shave my head and wear the apt wardrobe since it’s a very significant portion in the film,” declared veteran actor who is planning to shoot it at a Buddhist Monastery near Mysore. The 500-films-old actor also described it as an ‘action-centric family drama’. Former numero uno Soundarya, who is on a comeback trail, will play the female lead in his multi-star cast venture. Debutant director K Rajendra, assistant of showman Dasari, described it has a ‘well-packaged’ film since it will be a blend of serious action and entertainment. “I am privileged to make a film for this illustrious banner,” announced the green horn. “I made both huge hits and as well as flops from my banner but I always intended to make good films,” reasoned the lanky actor who is donning the grease paint after a gap of two years since he was busy introducing his two sons Vishnu and Manoj. Soon he intends to act with his elder son and he described it has a ‘father-son’ melodrama. To join the exclusive band of actors like NTR, ANR and Krishna who had the rare privilege to act with their siblings.
