If you remember, Trisha was mysteriously sacked from NTRjr's yet to be named film, directed by Vara.

For almost a week the makers of the film kept the replacement under covers as they searched all the nook and corners of India for a suitable replacement. Finally luck in the way of Riya Sen, daughter of Moon Moon Sen, shined on them and she was selected to play the lead role.

Riya Sen had previously done a couple of films down South in Tamil and hence is no stranger to this place. Riya Sen rose to popularity with Falguni Pathak's 'Yaad Piya ki' album, but still not effectively settled down in any of the industries she has tried. This will be her first appearance in Tollywood.

The other heroine in this film is Genelia D'Souza. MM Keeravani scored music. Giri produces this film on Bharati Enterprises banner. Muhurat of this film would be held on 21st March on the eve of Ugadi festival.
