Actress Tabu and Bhomika were signed up for a new film along with Ria Sen.

Film critic and director Khalid Mohammed is planning to direct a new film in Hindi with Tabu, Bhoomika and Ria Sen. The film's song recordings were completed some time ago. But they haven't decided on the name yet. 

In South, Kamal had approached Tabu to play his heroine in the new film. He initially had plans to bring in Madhuri Dixit. Then there were talks that he might be reuniting with Sridevi. Finally, he had plans to get Tabu to play the lead. Tabu had reportedly refused the role.
