‘The Tamil film ‘Yei’ did have a sexy song, but that doesn’t mean I’m a glamorous actress!” Namitha declared.

Namitha is trying her best to make a transformation from being a glamorous actress to an actress-of-substance. Her recent outburst is the first sign of it. 

“I’m tall and well built. That’s why I tend to look sexy and glamorous even if I don’t do anything special. This is the reason why people think I’m very glamorous. If you saw my films, you will find that I didn’t expose myself too much,” she said. 

She is presently acting as second heroine in ‘Oru Naal Oru Kanavu’ with Dhanush. Gayathri Raghuram was the original choice for the role but the official reason give for her removal is that she is very busy in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu.
