Tejashri, who is known for her dancing skills, is an open book as far as films are concerned.

Her debut in Tamil was a success but she keeps getting only dance and second heroine offers. The actress is known for her outspokenness. So, when a director recently approached her to sign her up for the role of a deglamorised heroine, she smiled at him and said,  "you think I'll look convincing in an un-sexy role? You are joking, right? The audience will reject me outright."

The director returned without her call sheets.

Tejashri is convinced that the audience doesn't expect anything else from her other than song and dance numbers in sexy costumes. Like Vijay, she too is not interested in taking risks with her mage.

Somebody tell her that the audience gets tired of glamour very easily. Look at Mumtaz.
