Vikram sure is becoming one of the most bankable stars in South. The remake rights of his films in Tamil are sold even before the film's release, in Telugu.

The film 'Dhil' which has Vikram as a young man who aspires to become a cop was remade in Telugu but that didnt stop the dubbed version of the film from doing good business all over the state. This has only proved the star value that Vikram has in the state, especially after the release of 'Pitamagan'.

Vikram is presently starring in 'Anniyan', director Shankar's megabudget film. The Telugu dubbing rights was sold for a massive Rs 4.5 Crores!

Oscar Ravichandran is producing the Tamil version of the film.

The film hit the headlines recently with its massive insurance cover of Rs 27 Crores, first ever for an Indian film.

Malayalam director Priyanandan for a new film has now signed up Vikram.
