Director Goutham's cancellation spree continues. First, he canceled a film with Surya. Now he seems to be getting ready to cancel the film with Prabhas too!

You would have probably heard it by now that Goutham and abruptly shelved his project with Surya named 'Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikaalam' after making Surya wait for him. During the time, Surya had lost many good offers. He had given those films up because he wanted to work with Goutham again after the resounding success of 'Kaaka Kaaka'.

In Telugu, 'Garshana' wasn't all that big. Venkatesh's constant promotion was the biggest contributor to even the tiny success that the film had. But Goutham had signed up Prabhas and Trisha for a new film in Telugu. Even advances were paid to the stars for the film. But, it now looks as if Goutham has got no story or script ready for the new film. This film is likely to be dropped too.
 
There are talks that he is concentrating his energy on coming up with a good script for the film with Kamalhasan. He is likely to direct Kamalhasan soon.
