Tamil director Selvaraghavan's '7G Brindavan Colony' is finally ready to be released.

The film '7G' is special because it marks the debut of producer AM Rathnam's son Ravikrishna. He is the hero of the film. Sonia Agarwal is the heroine. The director of the film, Selvaraghavan claims that the film is based on some real incidents that had happened in Chennai.

The film is also special because this is the first time that Selvaraghavan is working without Dhanush, his younger brother. But the film had been running into one hurdle after the other.
 
Finally, most of them have been crossed and the producer has announced that the film will be released on the 10th of October. The film is being made simultaneously in Tamil too as '7G Rainbow Colony'. The release date of the Tamil version hasn't been announced yet.
