Mahesh Babu has decided to surrender to the police with a few of the people who were involved in the assault case filed against him.

It had all started when theatre distributors told him that there are some video shops in Chennai that stocked pirated VCDs of his latest film ‘Arjun’. When they said that the collections in theaters were being affected due to this, he was very angered and had attacked the shop owners. 

The video shop owners filed a case of assault and kidnap against him. 

No formal arrests have been made yet. Mahesh Babu had announced yesterday that he intends to surrender to the police today.
