Compared to remaking, dubbing is a lesser evil. Atleast it doesn’t cost so much of money and the star value is often retained.

The latest dubbed film to make its arrival is Kamal’s ‘Virumandi’ which is being dubbed in Telugu and is going to be released as ‘Potturaju’. Though Kamal denies it, the film sure looks like an inspiration of Akira Kurusawa’s ‘Roshuman’. 

Meanwhile, he is getting ready with his new film with Singeetham Shrinivasa Rao. Three titles have been suggested for the film- ‘Krishna Leela’, ‘Kumarasambhava’ and ‘Marmayogi’. Nothing has been finalized yet. Madhuri Dixit was supposed to have been the heroine of the film. Now that she is pregnant with her second child, Kamal has brought in another person.
