Chiranjeevi's ongoing 'Shankar Dada MBBS' is believed to have been sold for a record price to a famous distributor in Nellore.

Distributors have shown interest from the time the movie was announced with Chiranjeevi in the lead. The race for the price scalp gained heat during the weekend. The winner is Narendra Babu for the Nellore district rights.

Narendra Babu who was forthcoming in saying that the film was bought by him as the sole distributor for the entire region at a never before price for a Chiranjeevi film, although he said that the contractual agreement between the two prevented him from revealing the actual amount until the release of the movie which will some time in the mid of May.

This mega business craze for a Megastar film is only to be expected since the original in Hindi was a hit. But it is taking things a little too far to have sold the movie even before it is made.

If the movie turns out to be money-spinner, it could be the first real hit of the year.
