Gunashekar better cut costs

It is easy to identify a Gunaskekar film- with the expensive sets on the films.

This was proved yet again in the film ‘Arjun’ in which a very realistic set of the Madurai Meenakshi temple was recreated. He had a justification for creating such a huge set for the film. "Our film talks about the brother-sister relationship. And, Madurai Meenakshi adores her brother Alagar Perumal, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. So, it made sense to create the sets."

But the audience had probably missed the brother- sister sentiment in the film. They rated ‘Arjun’ as a complete action film.

Had they shot the film in Madurai, it probably wouldn’t have cost the producer so much!
