Though the film ‘Garshana’ didn’t do as well as the original in Tamil, ‘Kaaka Kaaka’ did, there aren’t many who are complaining. 

Even before the film’s release, Goutham had been signed up for a couple of films in Telugu but the director was busy with his Tamil project. So, he didn’t start working on them. The reason for this rush was very simple- producers were very impressed by his style and techniques. 

The reason attributed for the lukewarm performance of the film was that the film didn’t cater to the tastes of the masses. But, Venkatesh believes that it is so because he hasn’t settled down in the Telugu cine industry. 

Venkatesh is still very much interested in doing another film with the director. But, nothing has been confirmed yet from the director’s side.
