A Malayalam soft porn film, with a very relevant message, is going to be dubbed and released in Telugu soon. 

The film, 'Ms Neelima' stars Maria in the lead. In case you didn't know who Maria is, here's a recap. 

Even at the beginning of last year, Shakeela, a flop actress in Tamil who had then gone to Malayalam, was the undisputed queen of soft porn in the Malayalam film industry. She was so popular with the audience of that genre of films that she even claimed that her films did better business at the box office than superstars' films themselves did. But, suddenly, she was out of the industry due to rumors that she was planning to get married. 

After her exit, it was Maria who had the strongest fan following. It is a different story that now such films have lost their stronghold in the state of Kerala. Still, films are being made mainly for the audience of neighboring states of Tamilnadu and Andhra Pradesh. 

So, what's 'Ms Neelima' talking about? The casting couch syndrome. Neelima is the protagonist who takes up the fight against such exploiters.
