After playing a factionist and a military commando, Balakrishna will take on the role of an Indian who accomplishes a difficult mission on foreign soil.

"I liked the script very much and it is an interesting role," said Balakrishna after the 'muhurat' of this period film.

Writer Paruchuri claims the story was inspired by a 'real-life' incident that occurred overseas. He was reluctant to reveal more details.

"The role aptly suits the larger-than-life image of Balakrishna and he has always come up trumps in such roles," co-writer Venkateswar Rao adds.

Shooting for the film will begin in October.
