Hyderabad, Aug 20 (IANS) Venkatesh will be seen in a new avatar -- of a freedom fighter -- in his next release titled "Subhash Chandra Bose".

The Telgu film star is experimenting with different roles after playing a platonic friend in "Vasantham" and a dreaded cop in "Gharshana".
 
"It has nothing to do with the legendary Subhash Chandra Bose. We have only given his name to a fictitious freedom fighter", says the actor.

He is teaming up after a long time with director K. Raghavendra Rao for the film, his first 'patriotic' film among 50-odd that he has acted in.
