In a charge of physical assault and kidnap, director Teja had surrendered to the cops.

Trouble began a few days ago when a not-so-well known actor filed a complaint of physical and mental abuse and illegal confinement against the director. The actor, Naveen Reddy, had filed cases of bodily injuring a person, illegal confinement and threats to kill against the director while working in the film ‘Dhairyam’. He claims that the director had beaten him up and had locked him in his office for three days.

Teja denied these allegations. Following his denial, Teja had surrendered himself at the police station to avoid further complications. He sought for a bail. Bail was granted for a sum of Rs 10,000.
