‘Billa’ was a Tamil film starring Ajith, Nayantara and Ramya in the lead roleswhich turned out to be a blockbuster hit. Now a remake of the film is being planned in Telugu. Prabhas is the hero and Anushka is the heroine. Anushka is selected for the role played by Nayantara while Priyamani or Bhavana might be opted to play the role of Ramya. The film is being planned to go to the floors soon. It will be directed by Meher Ramesh of ‘Kanthri’ fame. The movie will be produced on Gopi Krishna Movies banner. It will be launcheed on 9th October on the eve of Vijaya Dasami.

Major part of this film will be shot in the locales of Malaysia and Korea. Director Meher Ramesh is presently touring these places to select the locations.
