Preeti Zingania was last seen in an item song in ‘Yamadonga’. She has now bagged a full fledged role as a female lead in forest adventure ‘Nakshatra’ opposite Venugopal. It is a suspense saga and she appears very excited about it. "I was truly impressed with the script as well my role," she says. The producer reveals that the film is a ‘edge-of-the-seat’ thriller with good dose of entertainment.

The film is produced by Lanka Sivashankar, Marripudi Bhargavi and Radha Krishna. The film is being directed by debutante Bal Kumar. “It basically revolves around few archeologists who set out on a mission in dense forests,” reveals the director.
