"Beauty is not something to be kept hidden," says Ramya, one of the upcoming heroines in Telugu.
Ramya, the grandniece of the Chief Minister SM Krishna of Karnataka, is known as much for her glamorous appearance on the screen as she is for her bold statements off-screen.
Ramya has two films in Telugu right now including 'Ranga SSLC'. She says, "Beauty and good looks are meant to be shown, not kept hidden. If I'm not going to show them now, when am I going to show it later? In Telugu and Tamil cine industry, a huge glamour race is on and that's the truth.
"I have shown enough glamour in my previous films. If that is not enough, I'm ready to go even further in my next films. I don't think sex is such a terrible sin. An actress can't survive on her acting skills alone. These days, the predominant section of people watching films is youngsters. There is nothing wrong in giving visual pleasure to them," she said.
Such bold statements invariably get converted into offers in the film industry. These days Ramya is trying to gain a foothold in the Malayalam cine industry. We'll keep you posted on that.
