Sashank is not hungry to grab any film that comes his way! He is one actor who accepts a film only when he is convinced about the role. He doesn’t mind doing a role even if it is small, but he chooses roles with substance. That’s the reason that though he has been offered many films with him in the lead, he didn’t do them.

Now he has signed a film that shows him in the lead. The untitled film has Arya Menon and Gayatri opposite him. The film is directed by Srinivas Bhalla.

Sashank  on his choice to play the lead role said, "When the director narrated the script, I found it to be interesting. More than playing the lead, I want my roles to be remarkable and realistic. I want to be known as an actor than a star. I play a village youth who comes to the city in search of livelihood. And from them on, how he adapts to the city life forms the crux of the storyline.”
