Former hero Rehman is now going to start playing father in Telugu films!

Rehman was just about history in the film industry when he decided to make a comeback like most of his contemporaries. But, while other heroes like Karthik are trying to stick to the hero image, Rehman was smart enough to realize that his days as hero are over. So, in his comeback Tamil film 'Yethiri', he played the role of a villain against Madhavan. 

It looks as if his position is going to sink even more because he has agreed to play the role of father to heroines in Telugu. His debut film in father role is going to be 'Dhairyam' in which he plays the father of a fourteen year old. The most annoying element in this comeback is the fact that heroes who are older than him are still running around trees with heroines who are still in their teens.

The role in 'Dhairyam' was initially offered to Prakashraj but he was not able to take it up due to call-sheet troubles.
