Kovai Sarala is making a strong entry in Telugu.

There was a time when Kovai Sarala was an essential ingredient of all mass entertainers. No Tamil film in this genre was made without this comedienne. But now, due to the arrival of many other actresses, Kovai Sarala has lost her market though none of these new actresses has been able to match with her when it comes to performance.

Kovai Sarala also tried her hand at some Malayalam films, but she wasn't very successful mainly because they have their own talented bunch of comediennes. There are reports that she is now all set to make an entry into Telugu cinema.

Thanks to all those dubbed films, the audience is very familiar with her kind of comedy and film makers believe that it would not be difficult for the audience to watch her in original Telugu films.
