Venu is a household name as he featured in scores of family dramas since he made his debut in 'Swayamvaram' four years back.

But if you notice there is one amazing similarity in all his movies in the past few years, barring an odd one, in that the role he plays will be of a guy who is either a chronic flirt or somebody who doesnot want to marry.

This time around Venu has decided to mend his ways, Not because of any social responsibility that he suddenly realised that he holds, but is more due to the string of flops he's had to contend with. Director Vikraman, the maker of the last year's superhit 'Vasantham' is the one who
would be helping him do that. Vikraman has signed Venu for his next film which also features Abhirami and newcomer Ashima Bhalla.

"I had Venu in mind after watching him in 'Chirunavvutho' where I saw the constant mischief in his eyes, which is exactly what the character in my story will be. But I promise that this will not be like every other Venu movie that you have come across. This one is different," said Vikraman.

"After the hit of 'Vasantham', It is with high hopes of getting closer to the Telugu audience that I start this project. I hope you receive this as well as you did the other one," Vikraman.

We surely will sir, That's what Telugu film world is for. Dumping ground for insipid stories and unrealistic sentiments. All the best for Vikraman to begin his journey in Tollywood.
