Filmfare recently announced its list of winners from South Indian films- Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu.

While ‘Pitamagan’ sweeps the awards clean in Tamil, it is ‘’Okkadu’ that does the honors in Telugu. The film, produced by MS Raju, won the award for the Best Picture, the Best director (Gunashekar), the Best Actor (Mahesh Babu) and the Best Music Director (Mani Sharma).

Asin wins the award for the best actress for ‘Amma Naana O Tamil Ammayi’. It should be reassuring for the actress who is down with chickenpox right now. Jayasudha wins the Best Supporting Actress award for the same film.

The awards will be given away at a grand function that is going to be held in Jawaharlal Nehru stadium, Chennai on the 12th of this month.
