An interesting incident had happened when the film 'Thirudaa Thirudee' was shown for preview audience. 

Director Selvaraghavan, the elder brother of actor Dhanush had grabbed the collars of the film's director and was ready to pounce on him because he had destroyed the image that Selvaraghavan had been building for his younger brother. His father had to intervene and get him off the director's neck!

The film turned out to be a massive hit. Now, it is going to be remade in Telugu. The Telugu version has been named 'Donga Dongadi'. The film is being directed by Subramaniya Siva.
