Star comedian Rajendraprasad, who made a comeback with huge hits like "Kshemanga Velli" and "Sandade Sandadi", is now hailed as a messiah of small producers.

His next venture, "Oka Pellam Muddu...Rendo Pellam Vodu", will have Raasi and Gurlin Chopra in the lead.

It is the tale of a family man who faces big problems after slipping into an affair. "Though the plot is familiar, we have packed in a heavy dose of comedy," says the actor who has done over 200 films.

Debutant director K. Ramana has created a family entertainer with loads of comedy, and describes it as a "sure-fire winner".

"Rajendraprasad has an impeccable timing for comedy and you have to just provide him with a sensible plot," Ramana said.

He has tried hard to sketch a realistic protagonist. "I have always worked with makers who have good taste," Rajendraprasad said referring to producer D.S. Rao whose earlier film "Charminar" was a flop.

While two other top comedians Brahmandam and Sunil will also tickle the laughing bones, Raasi will play a suffering housewife yet again.

"It is the typical role of a housewife but it has been treated well," says the actress.

"The relationship between the husband and wife will be a treat to watch and will touch every heart," said producer Rao.

Rajenjdraprasad has sprung many a surprise in his career. Once again, he is staking his film against big-budget extravaganzas like "Yuva", "Aadavi Ramudu" and "Samba".

"The audience has always encouraged good cinema," explains Rao who has launched a publicity campaign prior to the film's release.
