Director Krishnavamsi’s ‘Shri Anjaneyam’s audio cassette was released in the city recently.

Director Krishnavamsi had boldly launched a new film about Lord Hanuman named ‘Shri Anjaneyam’. This is a pretty unusual move for a director who is known for his commercial films. The audio cassettes of the film were released recently. The function was attended by many leading personalities like SV Krishna Reddy and YVS Choudary.

During his speech, Krishnavamsi first thanked one and all who had turned up for the function, but had then gone on to express his doubts about the claims that are made by the audio labels when it comes to cassette sales. He said he believed that the companies are tampering with the sales figures in order to reduce the kind of commission that have to be paid to the film makers.
