SV Krishna Reddy was the one who had launched Soundarya in Telugu. He is now remaking ‘Azagi’ in Telugu.

Gopika is going to play the role that Devayani originally did in the Tamil version of the film. SV Krishna Reddy was so pleased with her performance that he told her, “You are good enough to full the vacant slot that Soundarya’s demise had created.”

True to his words, Gopika had been signed up for a big budget film in Telugu. The film is going to be directed by ‘Varsham’ director Shoban.
