Meera Jasmine is going places. And her role in Mani Ratnam's Yuva, also being released in Telugu later this month, is expected to vault her into a higher plane. This will be the first foray into Telugu for this Malayalee girl who made her debut in Sootradharan. After that she starred opposite Madhavan in the Tamil hit Run and then found herself with roles opposite top heroes like Srikanth, Vijay and Ajith. But none of these did as well as Run and she dabbled agin in women-of-substance roles in Malayalam movies. Telugu films beckon now and she has lined up Pawan Kalyan's Gudumba Shankar and Sivaji's Ammai Bagundi in which she plays double role.
