Fiery actress Laya is making her ‘debut’ in Tamil film with ‘Gajendra’. That was until someone came out with information about her previous appearance in Tamil.

‘Gajendra’ is the remake of the hugely successful Telugu hit film ‘Simmhadri’. Vijayakanth is playing the lead role and Laya is his heroine. This is being advertised as her debut film in Tamil. But, she had already done a Tamil film. She had played the second heroine in the film, ‘Bannari Amman’.

This makes ‘Gajendra’ not her first film.  Then why claim that it is?
