Nagma, one of the former top heroines in South Indian films, has now decided to do what most of her counterparts have been doing this year- get into politics.

There were initial reports that she might campaign for the BJP. The idea was probably motivated by the BJP’s attempts to portray a secular image. But, according to information available now, she has decided to join Congress.

Nagma, who also teaches The Art of Living course, is likely to begin campaigning from Nizamabad. A formal announcement of her joining the party is expected shortly from the Congress High Commands.

Yet another movie star stepping into politics.
