Though Chaaya Singh had been acting in Telugu films before, it was the ‘Manmadaraasa’ song that had made a celebrity out of her. Now, fate has a different plan for her.

Chaaya Singh’s talent and her natural grace for dancing was highlighted in the song ‘Manmadaraasa’ with actor Dhanush. This fact has also been noticed by many film makers. Chaaya Singh had come to become the heroine but she seems to be only getting offers to appear in one song in the new films.

Her first major move in this direction will be her dance appearance in the new Vikram starrer ‘Arul’. When news began to spread that she is open for one song- appearances, offers began flooding her.

But, Chaaya Singh couldn’t help but think of all the other heroines before her who had come to become the heroine but ended up becoming dancers. So, she has refused all the offers without even bothering to give it a second thought.
