It is an old story that Seetha has got a divorce from Parthiban. She is now living alone with her kids.

Though she made a comeback with TV serials, money is insufficient. When Seetha made an announcement that she is willing to do the mother role in films, offers began trickling in but ex-husband Parthiban intervened and saw to it that she didn’t get any of those offers.

Seetha decided to move to Telugu, where her husband doesn’t have such a hold. She is now in big demand to play the hero/heroine’s mother. She is charging a decent Rs 5 Lakhs for her roles as mother/sister.
