She made her debut in Simbu’s film ‘Kaadhal Azhivathillai’. The film flopped. Charmi then changed her name as Kalyani and made her entry in Malayalam films. her first film flopped too. She then disappeared.

After more than a year’s break, she is back, more beautiful than ever and still looking for good breaks.

“I have a film or two in Tamil and Malayalam, but my biggest strength is Telugu. I have four films in Telugu right now. Two of my films in Telugu are big hits.”

We wanted to ask her to name them, but, we kept quiet.

“It has been more than a year now since I had vacated my house in Chennai. I’m back again, to look for new offers. I hope I get them this time,” she said.
