Just because you had a bad start, doesn’t mean things have to continue the same way. Ask Asin and she will tell you so.

Asin was a model before she stepped into films. Unfortunately, she started her film career in Malayalam with a flop. Though she continued to receive offers in Malayalam, she was determined to make sure that she did the right thing this time.

That was when she was signed up for a Tamil film with cinematographer-turned-director Jeeva’s ‘Pepsi’ as Shyam’s heroine. The film had been running into troubles for a long time. Another bad start that was.

Puri Jagannath invited her to work in his film ‘Amma Naana O Tamiza Ammaya’. The film was a big hit at the Box Office. She then worked in another film with director Puri Jagannath. This time, she was going to be Nagarjuna’s heroine in ‘Shivamani 9848022338’. That was a big hit too.

Then came the dream film- ‘Lakshmi Narasimha’ with NTR’s son Balakrishna as the hero. The film shattered all previous box office records. And, Asin scored her hattrick.

She is playing Venkatesh’s heroine in the Telugu remake of  the Tamil film ‘Kaaka Kaaka’. She is also going to star in some impressive projects in Tamil like director Goutham’s new film ‘Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikaalam’ and a film with Ajith.
