Dubbing films the latest fashion?

Since the super success of 'Sivaputrudu', it is learnt that the distributors are looking for films of Vikram and Surya to be dubbed in Telugu and released to appease the demand.

Hence it would be no surprise if the telugu audience are made to watch some already remade films as dubbed versions from Tamil. According to the distributors all the Vikram's films are already remade in Telugu and only one of Surya remains to be remade, which is 'Nanda'. However, distributors are toying with the idea of dubbing the original and releasing them in the state, as the remade versions mostly were big flops.

But what is more funny is a recently released dubbed version of a tamil movie 'Ezhumalai' starring Arjun, Gajala which was incidentally the remake of 'Narasimha Naidu'. The dubbed version is titled 'Simhabaludu' and the audience are going through the same crap of watching the Balakrishna starrer against, only this time the stars are not the same.

With the dubbing rights costing only a pittance, it may not be a bad idea for the distributors to release the dubbed versions of remade films.

So desperate are the poor distributors.
