'Allari' Naresh hasn't had too much success off late. He seems to be stuck with his 'Allari' image and despite displaying a wide range of histrionics in all of the movies that released later, he was unable to deliver a notable hit.

But he is confident of changing things for the better with his coming 'Nenu' which appears at hindsight remake of the Tamil hit 'Kaadal Kondein'. "That's right. It is the remake of the Tamil movie which ran for more than 175 days in Tamilnadu," confesses the lanky youngster with his trade mark smile.

When asked why he is hopeful that this movie will change his fortunes, he said "For long, not too long. For two years, I have been doing roles that had a hint of mischief in them. This suited the image I built on 'Allari', but I realise that the audience have grown tired with that. That is the main reason for the failure of my films. I have tried to
change the image in this film."

"It's a about a boy who grows in an orphanage and comes to the city to study in college. The story is focuses on how different he finds the life in the city is from his orphanage and how a girl helps him find his feet. And what happens later.

The character is unique because the boy is possessive about his girlfriend and at a certain stage becomes obssessive about her."

"You see only regular stuff churned out in Tollywood these days. So I believe it will be a welcome change to see an anti-hero. It's long since anti-hero's made their mark in Tollywood. Rajasekhar's 'Om' was the last big hit I remember.

'Nenu' will surely cross that. I want to be the best anti-hero ever," says the confident Naresh.

Let's wait and watch. He might be true after all.
