It was during the 100 days function of 'Missamma' that Chiranjeevi opened up a little since his 'Shankar Dada MBBS' shooting started.

Chiranjeevi has been avoiding a lot of functions due to the tight schedule he finds himself in, this despite the other movie with Puri Jagannath yet to start. So naturally the partisan crowd at the function was excited to have Chiranjeevi there. After all the heaps of praises from the guests for the function came Chiranjeevi's chance to have a say and the Megastar took the opportunity to say something that Sivaji will remember in his entire life.

"I have been enthused about the movie ever since I heard about the title. It reminded me of the old 'Missamma' which is one of my favourite movies. So, I followed this film curiously and even wished Sivaji all the best on the eve of the film's release."

"They had even arranged a preview for me. After watching the movie I felt guilty of having done something wrong. I hope Sivaji will forgive me for that. In one of my films there was a tough guy's role to play and Sivaji was in the director's mind for the role, but I felt that a soft guy like Sivaji would not do justice to the role and relegated him to a smaller role in the movie. I think I shouldn't have judged him like that. When I watched the movie, I could see the discipline in his efforts and felt ashamed of my judgement. Sivaji is what he is simply because of the hard work he's done over a period of time and not because somebody backed him." This is what he said about the hero Sivaji. Ofcourse there was praise for the director too.

"He deserves another national award for this effort. It is nice that people are trying to do different things in Tollywood. Laya too was natural and Bhoomika did an author backed role effectively. They all have a lot to live upto in the future."
