The recent casualty for the heroine is the Nagarjuna film which is directed by the dance master Lawrence. Yuvasamrat Nagarjuna is giving a break to dance choreographer Raghava Lawrence by giving him a chance to direct him on his prestigious banner – Annapurna Studios. But the same sentiment did not hold in the case of the heroine. With the lukewarm response to the heroine in 'Malliswari', the heroine was removed without second thoughts.

Jyothika captured a few hearts when she played a small role in Chiranjeevi's 'Tagore'. It seems that she is also working out real hard to tone down, and fit into the role. The grapevine has it that the script requires many chases to be canned, and the production department had kept aside over 50 lakhs of liquid cash, just for canning the chase scenes in the film.

Annapurna is a name synonymous with quality and success. And if that big money was just for the chases, then imagine what the budget of the film would be.
