***image:2:right*** Chennai, Oct 29 (IANS) Two films starring Sathyaraj may stay in the cans a bit longer to enable the release of his much-hyped "Maha Nadigan" on the day of Diwali (Nov 12).

The two films are: "Iyer IPS" and "Suyechchai MLA". The first has received a lot of publicity already.

"Maha Nadigan", which takes swipes at Tamil film stars eyeing political power, has also been getting a lot of pre-release publicity.

Distributors reportedly do not approve of the simultaneous release of two or more films featuring the same star.

They cite the example of two films starring Arjun, "Arasaatchi" and "Giri", released around the same time recently. The result was a dip in the collections of the former.
